(More customer reviews)I never thought I'd read any book about "insurance" - but this one is a page-turner. It gave me instant insight and confidence to manage an ugly situation and come out ok. Before this, I had no idea of what really goes on when your car is repaired and how awful it is to get an insurance company to do the right thing (especially when it came to safety issues!) The book is now my "bible" - and I give it to everyone I know who buys a new car!

Written in 7th grade language, this book provides vehicle owners with end-to-end information on every aspect of auto insurance.It begins with a typical wreck and easily moves the victim throught the steps that should have been taken BEFORE the wreck (such as selecting the right insurer based on how claims are paid). It walks a victim through the collision repair process and details why they should never allow the insurer or its Agents to steer them to their discount repair company.
