(More customer reviews)As a career counselor therapist I greatly value this book. The reason I am writing this review is because of the unfair review written by someone else referring to the author's choice to borrow start up money. The purpose of this book is not to promote borrowing funds to start a business. I use the book to counsel clients who are considering a career change into the insurance field. It discusses important topics such as agency ownership versus being an employee, compares different company contracts, product selection, etc. Proper education and evaluation can greatly reduce career change anxiety and minimize down side risk. This book, whether you choose to borrow start-up funds or not, will give you the info needed to make a confident career choice. Since 80% of new businesses fail in two years and many borrow money to start their business it is not a "given" that this author's choice to borrow money make his success easier...only more risky! Minimize your risk if you are considering a career choice into the insurance field and read this book!
