(More customer reviews)Overall, I liked this book, but I can't say it was particularly useful to me. It seems like sales professionals fall into one of two types: product-based sellers, and relationship-based sellers. Feldman was definitely the former. His sales techniques are very specific to selling life insurance. Since I don't sell life insurance, I can't offer an educated opinion on whether the techniques would still be relevant today. I think that the book certainly teaches the lesson that selling is about presenting your product as a simple, concise solution that solves the prospect's problem, but I don't think that any of the specific techniques translate easily to products other than life insurance.
